Various sorts of arrogance

For those of you who have been following my posts here, you know I have been using BitTorrent to acquire all sorts of PUALook up this term and NLPLook up this term material. I have been watching Tyler Durden's RSDLook up this term - Blueprint Decoded.

My gut response is to feel repulsed by his presentation and personality. His voice is high pitched, and he keeps saying "Kay" over and over again. It is irritating. He is irritating. He makes digs at Mystery which are unfair. When I read The Game, I got the impression that Tyler Durden was a bit of a weasel. I have to say, now that I am able to watch him in action, I understand why Neil described him the way he did. I will not be taking any RSDLook up this term seminars or workshops. Every particle in this Universe has its equal opposite. For every electron there is a proton. On the subatomic level, this holds true, also. I must say, that Tyler is the negative Hypnotica. Where Hypnotica is a likeable, confident, powerful man, who speaks without stuttering, and says nothing negative about others in the community, Tyler is weasel-like, annoying, and really emanates a lack of inner confidence. I do plan on taking a seminar run by Hypnotica and his buddy Steve P.

RSD has some good things going

Check out some of Tim's stuff. Also, TD is given props by David D, Brad P and Lovedrop.

I finally figured it out!

I finally figured out why Tyler Durden/Own so annoys me.
It is not just because he is an arrogant dweeb who has a whiney voice and seems to take pleasure in grinning stupidly while dissing Mystery and Neil. It is not because he uses a nom de plume of a violent character from a homeorotic movie/book, it is because he reminds me of the character Syndrome from the animated movie The Incredibles. Remember Mr. Incredible's annoying little fan-boy who grows up to be the evil character in that movie? Yup! That there is Owen/Tyler to a T.

Dude, totally! I recently

Dude, totally! I recently caught the end of that movie on TV and drew the same conclusion. Pretty fuckin' funny likeness. Not only does he look like the movie character, but he totally thinks he's so much more than he is and tries to wreck the game of the superheros.
