Fear of the Approach
I was the guy who never had a fear of the approach. I could have went up to any women, break rapport, attract and seduce, all within a matter of hours.
But after many relationships, heartaches and drama, that feeling of superiority has diminished. I no longer feel the adreneline rush when I open a set
. No longer that feeling of having the competence and skill of simply acting like the cool guy trying to be social. I feel fear, anxiety and low self esteem, which paralyze my very being. I can't move, let alone open a set. My heart races, my hands shake and my mouth stays shut.
I don't know how to break this cycle. Its been a while since I opened a set, and I am asking anyone out there for help. Help to killing this fear that has plagued me for so long.

I have found the best way to break into a set
is to just ask a question and if its a set
of all women, as an opinionated question specifically for women. Such as: Hey do you mind if I ask you a question, I need a females opinion on something.................my friend told me this shirt i'm wearing looks like something out of the 70's, what do you think?
It doesn't matter the question as long as you breach it with "I need a females opinion" Girls love to give their opinion on stuff, even if it doesn't matter.
If its a set
with a some dudes in it, ask the guys a question to get them to let you in the group........Hey did you catch the score of the hockey game?.....Then work from there, talk to the dude for a few mins, get comfortable with the group then ask if he is with everyone and get him to introduce to you everyone in the group, then move onto the girls in the group with the "I need a girls opinion question"

fear can be broken by facing that fear and accepting the fact that you could get rejected. If that happens to me it sort of makes me angry to where I can use that anger to want to achieve it more. Sometimes. But like Bogie said try open ended questions. shit happens with drama when a women ripes your soul out lol, but all you have to do is find your mojo again and you will be back at it dude
