Disrespected
Ok, so here I was at the only bar in the small town I'm from, I'm out on the back patio being a champion for once, and these three girls walk up. One of the girls ask me for a light, so I pull out my zippo and I look at her and say what's it worth to ya, she mumbles something I can't make it out, but I go ahead and give her a light any way, and then the girl in the back moves forward between the other two and ask me what my name is, so I tell her what my first name is, then the first girl who ask for the light says "don't you have a last one" and then I tell them my last one. The girl who first ask me my name takes off like a bat out of hell to go into the building, and the other two turn and walk to a near by bench and sit down, at this point I'm wondering what happen, so I go ask the other two girls "what was that all about?" and they say "you don't need to know" "get away from us! go talk to those girls over there!" so I'm wondering what the deal is, So I get a little verbal with the girl who ask for the smoke, and I end up heading back for the building, but before got to the door way I turned around flipped them the finger and told them to go to hell. What do you guys take from this? well, other than I let it get personal and I got angry.

What do guys get from this?
That's easy, some girls are retarded. Plain and simple.
sorry

I'll tell you what I get from this
Some people are idiots. Don't worry about them. You did the right thing by not wasting your time and walking away. None of that was your fault. Remember, if this is the first time you're meeting a person and they're already that crazy, why waste your time? there are 7 billion (the number is still growing) other people you could be talking to.
hey
thanks, that makes perfect sense, I guess I really am better off, but sill the principal of the thing is what gets me for some reason.

You played it wrong Dude
Never comply with them. They just rode all over you. Always make them work for whatever you do. It can be anything from telling them to tell their name first or amking them give a cigarette to you. You don't need to smoke it :P, just show them who's the man.
Sharkash has got it right!
Burtonyin,
I do love your writing! It sounds like a cross between Hunter S. Thompson and Charles Bukowski. You have this noirish, and pardon me for saying this, slightly bitter humor to your writing, and THAT is the problem! Good pick-up, that is good game, is about being clever and adaptive. She asked you for a light. THAT is great! But, her state was not to talk to you, it was simply to get what she needed and leave. You had value only for the lighter. Once that was gratified, she did not need you. Sharkash, is 100% correct, once you did what she asked (or commanded) you became a tool. You became like every other guy out there she has ever tested by telling them what to do. It is no different than if a girl turns to you and asks you to buy her a drink. Would you do THAT? NEVER! So, change your state. You could have been more playful, and told her, "You get the light if you tell me three interesting things about yourself." She would either get bitchy, or she would respond back playfully, or something in between. But whatever it was, you could have hooked her. You could have interupted her script/trance (because asking for and getting a light is a routine) and told her, "Sit and I will light it" When she asked for your last name, you could have said, "It is Big-Cock, Burt Big-Cock" or "My last name is a secret, come over here and I will whisper it to you." Now, just go back, and tell me what was your state when those girls approached you? Was it fun and happy? Was it playful and entertaining? Was it a bitter bitter and futile? Do you see what I am getting at? It is NOT just having a clever gambit at hand, or some routine prepared, it is about creating the right inner state, so that you respond in a way congruent with how you are feeling and adaptive to the situation.
hey
Thank you for the Comment, and yes I agree I went about things the wrong way, but next time, there will be a different outcome on the report here. I'm also digging the fact that I remind you of Hunter S. Thompson and Charles Bukowski. Thanks again.
