FR: My first night of sarging

So I recently broke up with my girlfriend after a very long term relationship and figured that it's time to have some fun. I'm halfway through The Game, and decided that it was time to go out for a night of sarging. I had a "who gives a shit attitude" when it came to talking to girls and here is what happened:

Attempt 1: There was a group of about 6 girls and 1 guy sitting in the corner of this club and they had been sitting there since the start of the night. I picked up the courage to walk over there and started by saying "hey guys, could i just quickly get your opinion on something?"... it went from there and I went on to say "so my friend has been with his girlfriend for three months now, but she is always talking to her ex boyfriend" (classic Style). The girls were looking at me, super intrigued and more than willing to give advice.

Like The Game suggests, I ended up turning my back to the majority of the girls and continued the conversation with the one guy of the group and the girl sitting next to him. I was there for a total of about 5 minutes, thanked them for their advice, then went back to my group. Looking back on it, I wish that I was able to get one of the girl's numbers or at least have a one-on-one chat with them. In this case, what is the best way for me to actually get back to chatting with the girl, when The Game actually teaches you to ignore your target for a period of time.

Attempt 2: Now this is funny. I decided I would try this game on 2 girls: www.youtube.com/watch?v=0aWoN8MvGKw . So they both agreed to play the game with me, and we agreed that if I lost, I would buy them both a drink, and if I won, they would buy me a drink. So I started talking "Okay, so I'm going to ask you 5 questions..." when the girl interrupted "And I have to get them all wrong...?"...

I was shocked... I froze up then said "Umm, No... you have to get them all right... " I laughed to myself, then just walked away. It was embarrassing, but pretty funny looking back on it. Anyone here able to give me advice on what to do when the girl knows about the line/game/trick you are playing on her.
