Are guys just naturally Assholes or are they insecure???? honestly i have no idea
Here you go guys, this goes out to all you fellas out there. my girl friends and i were talking the other day and were wondering are guys naturally assholes or are they just insecure of themselves?? i honestly think guys are trying to hide the fact that they are nice, decent and just don't want us girls to no you have a soft side there for you tend to come across as mean and judgmental.
most of my friends say men just try to be hard (brave) and show girls that they are the best. i said that men are insecure so they do that lol
honestly i want to hear your side. look you guys when you comment this, all my girl friends are ganna read it and see what you guys have to say, so inform us let us no whats really going on with the fellas :))

I think men, many times come off as assholes because most women buy that vibe; They buy it, in my opinion. Because in general, they lack self esteem; I've seen it a hundred times; physical abuse to verbal abuse, girls stay with this type of guy because, " i just love him" They really don't feel they deserve love or respect; My guess, is it was learned, at any early age, growing up; poor role model; Of course having good self esteem can be learned at any age and any past bad expereience; Thats where the hard work comes in and that leaves the majority in one bad relationship to another;

What shows off from your question, to be very honest, is you are a bit of stuck-up kinda girl....
and unfortunately, some guys actually try to look brave and tough, because of this attitude of some girls...and tell you what, this attitude comes from an insecure place as well.
of course, i'm not saying that there aren't guys like that as you say. yes, they are insecure and try to derive their value from how they are perceived by the women. but most of these guys are quite immature and young, if you see.
well, then again, they had the courage to talk with you. other AFC
s will not even have the courage to go and talk with you.
but if a girl normally has a smooth open attitude, hardly any guy puts on that attitude, unless that guy is an arrogant schmuck!
so, it can be safely said, mam, that both sides are equally guilty of being insecure and immature. it plays both sides.
to end it with, i'm not an AFC
but i'm a good guy, perhaps a 'nice guy' wearing specs who loves maths. but that doesn't mean i can't go and talk to a woman. i know who i am and i m DARN confident that it's normal girls fall in love with me. ;-)

look how about i agree with all of your opinions but at the same time im also against them as well. like to me i understand that most women love the ass hole look on a guy but me personally i find it as the biggest turn off, yes, women are rational but at the same time we are also intact with our instinct as well which is to argue with you men when you come out with this mean attitude. so i respect all your opinions but still men and women are both to blame with the fact that we all have that attitude where we like to defend our selves and hide the real feeling.

Yes men are assholes cause they know it works, but it probly has nothing to do with who they are. Also, in my opinion men are jerks to women only because they are insecure. I am agreeing with you about this one girl (srry guys) I think men are very insecure with so many things that they feel they must act tuff in order to hide from who they are. But, I am nice guy, yes I am a AFC
, yes I can be a jerk sometimes. However, I believe in being a gentleman and being romantic to my girl, or girls. Its unfortunate that not all women like that, therefore I use game to get who I want. But, despite the fact that I pride myself on being a nice guy, I am not afraid to get my hands dirty. I workout and lift weights on a daily basis, I worked mostly in labor jobs and was a boxer and even have a dark side to me. But on the other hand I am really a big nerd that does really good in college and likes to be with my family. So I say if you want to get away from the asshole maybe you need a more real man? wow so there you go, you may be right :)
