So the new job is absolutely kicking my ass, and this whole 9-5 deal is so fake. It's more like a 8-7 type job, and it's absolutely awful, because the company can afford to overwork us. My boss never openly says it, but she always hints that if I'm not willing to take it from the back side, there's another guy lined up that's willing to.
She's absolutely right. Anyway, I digress. It's just been messing with my head and state as of late, but whatever.
So it's Friday and I've had a long week of job training / modules. My head is in absolute cobwebs. On the flip side, I did meet some new co-workers, and we were all going to meet at a lounge / bar down by the beach.
I think sometimes you really should just go sarging
with normal people. They may not know what you're doing, but as long as you're having fun and not DLVing the group, they'll accept you for what you are. Going out with PUAs keeps you on target, but by the same token, rolling out with 5 dudes is pretty lame.
Anyway, so I crank out my usual 1.5 hour workout before I get there, take my two shots, schmooze a little with my co-worker friends, and I'm good to go.
I ended up having 3 pretty good sets throughout the night, and met a pretty cute half Asian chick.
Me: You know, you're Asian, I'm Asian, we should chat. I'm Kevin, you are ...
Her: Haha, well actually, I'm only half Asian.
Me: Aww jeez, well you're only half as cool in my book now.
Her: (Playfully) Jerk. So what kind of Asian are you ?
Me: What kind do I look like ?

Me: So, your Asian half, the better half of course ... what type are you ?
Her: Oh, I'm half Vietnamese.
Me: Oh nice, and the other half ?
Her: It's a giant mix of European descent.
Me: Cool, so we've got a half Vietnamese and half mutt, hybrid mix person
Her: (Hits me on shoulder playfully)
There wasn't really wasn't much of a need to isolate, since we were both sitting down to begin with. Her friend ended up leaving her alone, so that worked out pretty conveniently.
I was vibing pretty well with her the entire night and the kiss wasn't that big of a deal. She was cool with me sipping out of her drink and she was giving me pretty heavy
IOI's the entire time.
Me: So on a scale from 1-10, how good of a kisser are you ?
HB: 11
Me: Little arrogant, but I like it (make-out)
We made out a few more times and I did try escalating the interaction further by putting my hand higher up on her thigh, but she wasn't cool with it. Tried it twice and rolled off and left it at that.
She ended up # closing me and we are to set up a day 2 sometime during the week.

I don't understand why, but no one ever digresses about "mundane" topics. We know the usual questions: job, school, age, boringness, etc...are out. So what was used here and why was it not reported?
I think many of us could benefit from a list of "mundane" topics and i think there is much more interest in what's used to fill in the gaps between the glamourous stuff that everyone reports.
