According to Howard Stern, John Eagan was asked to go out with the E! crew and their hidden cameras to get dates for some of their interns. Howard said the interns were the ugliest guys he could find. John Eagan had to coach the interns with his techniques by speaking into the interns ear pieces. Using John Eagan's techniques, these interns got dates with beautiful girls within one hour. Howard said, “This guy is no bull, I've seen him in action. He is fantastic. He's the real deal.”

If these ugly interns were able to get dates within one hour, imagine what an average guy can do. I've been listening to Howard for 15 years. I've never heard him say anything like that about any of his guests before.

My Comment: I have the book and read it once. The two things that struck me were:

(a) I can't seem to get out of my mind the adage, "don't listen to what women say, pay attention to what they do" and so all those surveys of women were only marginally interesting. I am reminded of the Tootsie example that was discussed here previously; and

(b) All his lines were really the same line, telling the woman that she is beautiful in a sincere manner. After reading these comments and visiting the site, I am going to reread the book after I finish the others in the line up of unread books that I have.

I strongly urge you to read it, as it is by far the best and most realistic book on seduction that I've ever read. In addition, it compliments Speed Seduction quite well.

I just ordered Secrets of Being Successful with Girls, and once I've read it I'll give you my opinion.

How to Succeed With Women by Ron Louis and David Copeland is well worth reading. Loads of good, small-chunk details that supplement Ross' teachings. Especially good on attitudes, and on dealing with problems women cause. And a bargain price, too.

There were also some good reviews posted on ASF. You might also want to take a look at How to Make Anyone Fall in Love With You by Leil Lowndes. This is for both sexes, by a woman. There are some interesting techniques in here on rapport, building excitement, killer compliments, eye contact, body language, sex a la romance novels, etc. They do seem to have some basis in research and / or common sense. Not sure if it's worth owning, but worth a browse at a bookstore or library ...

My Comment: I bought a small bottle of one (it is called “The Scent”) and I really haven't found that it has made any kind of a difference. I don't know about you, but it seems to me that no matter how good you may smell, unless you say the right things, you aren't going to get to the promised land.
