Review of SeductionLair.com
About two years ago, I got an article from a relatively unknown poster at the time who wrote a little article called "Zen, and the Art of Opening." I didn’t think too much about it at the time, it was a good article on how to approach women, so I posted it here.
But then something funny happened.
I started to hear more and more about this guy. Apparently, he had started his own website and was sharing articles like the one I had posted close to every day. And now, he runs what is widely considered the best seduction-related weblog on the internet (www.thundercatseductionlair.com). Every time you visit that site, you know you are going to find something interesting, whether it be related to dating and seduction, or if it’s some bit of drama that the seduction community has become famous for.
Since he started his weblog, he also went on to write a book based on that first article I posted to my list, all about how to approach women, and had a good amount of success at that as well.
His main website has given birth to a commercial site, SeductionLair.com.
SeductionLair.com is an interesting website because it’s really not like the others that are out there at the moment. On fastseduction.com or sosuave.com, you have a great deal of free information available to you on dating and seduction. SeductionLair.com is a subscription site where you pay for the information you receive.
The information this site provides is generated specifically for this site.
There are a lot of interesting interviews, e-books, and other files available for the members to view or download.
Are you ready to join the underground?
That’s the question you’re asked right before you sign up as a member. SeductionLair.com prides itself on the fact that it has its roots in the seduction community.
Once you login, you’re met with a clean interface that’s easy to navigate and easy to read. You can always tell what’s new on the site because the first thing you see is a "front page" partition with a picture and a short blurb about what’s going on, followed by a News section that tells you when things have been added or changed on the website.
Below that, the site offers RSS feeds to various other dating and seduction resources on the internet. Every month, a new in-depth interview with a dating or seduction expert is put up on the website. These interviews are usually extensive PDF transcriptions, MP3 audios, or a combination of both. Among them are:
1. An Interview With Mystery: Mystery’s been around for a long time, and his method for picking-up women has been one of the most influential teaching methods in the seduction community. In this interview, you learn all about Mystery, his origins, how he got into the community, and his methods for attracting and seducing women. Things talked about are: Mystery Method, Freeze-Outs, NEGs, Creating Your Own Identity, and How To Pick Up Strippers, among other things. This consists of a 100 page PDF and an hour long MP3.
2. An Interview With Swinggcat: Swinggcat is the author of Real World Seduction, and has a unique style of attraction that is all his own. In it, he discusses his background, how he developed his method of seduction, and certain key concepts men must know when attracting women. This is only a PDF interview, no audio.
3. An Interview With IN10SE: IN10SE is one of the best hypnotic seducers out there, and in this interview, he spills many secrets. In it, IN10SE shares some amazing hypnotic routines he uses to seduce women, and lots of other great stuff. This is a PDF interview as well as two MP3 audios.
4. An Interview With Major Mark: You might recognize Major Mark from his days associated with Speed Seduction. In this interview, he talks about changing your belief system to get rid of limiting beliefs that hold you back. He also goes in-depth into State Control so you can manage your feelings of fear and nervousness around women. Major Mark's interview would not be complete without some discussion of his secrets on how to bang married women. This interview is a 50 minute MP3 audio.
There is also an interview with David Shade and one with MasterClass, both of whom have some very strong abilities and techniques to improve your sex life.
The first drawback to SeductionLair.com is the fact that you have to pay to access it. There’s a $95 joining fee for the first month, and a $25 recurring fee every month you’re a member afterward. That seems steep, and I have discussed this with Thundercat. I think the bottom line is that if one thing on this site clicks with you and you start to have successes because of what you read or listened to here, that is invaluable. The joining fee is high because you could join up, download everything on the site, then quit and never return (and, in what I consider an intriguing twist of internet marketing, once you quit you are not permitted to rejoin). In comparison, $25 a month is just a bit more than the price of the monthly DYD interview series. Considering the site gets updated many times a month, the price compares well.
A good deal of the articles on the site are from other authors, and can be found elsewhere for free. However, having them all in one place for easy access and reference so you don’t have to spend hours searching for them is convenient.
The joining fee for the site is non-refundable as well. The reason there is no guarantee is two fold. One reason is to guard against piracy, so people can’t join up, download everything, then get their money back and unsubscribe. Another is because the site only wants people serious about getting good with women, and who are willing to make a commitment to learning, and usually, those people will commit to spending what it takes without the need for a guarantee.
I will go on the record and say that I think this site is pretty good, and I do recommend joining it if you’re looking for some great information on dating and seduction.
This site definitely isn’t for experienced PUAs unless they just enjoy reading this material for the fun of it, or people who aren’t serious about getting better. Click below to subscribe to SeductionLair.com:
David DeAngelo/Sisonpyh: I'm sure there's some of that mixed in... lol. One more IMPORTANT tip: Avoid people who whine, bitch, criticize often, or complain. And avoid people who can't control themselves or their emotions. Also avoid people who can't produce the results you're looking for RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU? while you're watching. Your GUT will tell you who these people/teachers are... stay away. Avoid them like the plague. They'll only drag you down.
Ross: Now, we all know I have my serious disagreements with Mr. DeAngelo, but here, I have to agree. One ought to be careful when selecting a teacher.
He's right about avoiding negativity.
Here's some other criteria:
Does the teacher welcome, even encourage questions at all points of their presentation?
Is the teacher ready, willing and able to step into public forums and take questions that they cannot censor or pre-select?
Is the teacher truly teaching a complete system, or merely warming up trite aphorisms that have been preached thousands of times before like "Don't be too nice to women" and then padding out the rest of his events with quotations from dubious or taken out of context research?
Does the teacher really offer "transmission" that is in the moment and authentic, or merely reading off of prepared scripts or notes? In this case, he isn't a teacher, but a PRESENTER.
Is the teacher at all original in what they present or merely a copycat or repackager of the ideas of others?
Can the teacher present past students of average or plain appearance who will tell specific testimonials of success with his system?
Finally, will the teacher acknowledge his past sources of learning?
As an example, in my case, while I pride myself on being creative and innovative, I've learned massive amounts of Richard Bandler, my yoga teacher Mark Whitwell, my co-trainer's Dave Riker and Shirleen Rodgigues, Tom and Kim of essential-skills.com Even people with whom I am no longer associated and not even on speaking terms, I still will acknowledge: Mark Cunningham strongly stimulated my thinking in many new directions (no pun intended) and Kenrick Cleveland, whom I never care to speak to again, still taught me some very interesting things.
I have to say there are a few teachers out there that really fail this test.
As I read these words I have written, one strong can come to mind. Despite having been a former student of mine, who learned a great deal from me (and you can see him on my LA 99 Frame Control Videos giving a personal testimonial), he continues to pretend that I do not even exist, that hypnotic language is of little or no value, and that he learned nothing of value from me.
Reading this can allow you to imagine to whom I refer and further help you to conclude that this kind of person is someone about whom you could think, "I better stay away from that guy. He's not original and he's not honest either".

Do you think it is true that a guy 70 or more years of age is not going to be able to sexually attract women half his age or younger? Some PUA
gurus imply this and Bumshy pretty much flatly states it, equating this age level with weighing 450 pounds or having an acne covered face.
Now I'm assuming that this 70 year old guy does NOT have some great asset, like fame or millions of dollars, just decent looks, in good physical shape, and middle class. Of course I'd like to know David D's (and others) views on this, but I figure he's pretty difficult to get a quick answer from.
Regarding Gino's post about being accused of following the girl.
Here is the thing. When a woman is interested, she is interested in. When she is not, she is not. And there is little anybody can do to change that. Within the first few minutes she decides whether or not she would consider seeing the guy or not. Once she decides there is little anybody can do.
In this case being funny, telling her that your apartment is a mess and the such did nothing for her because it failed to address your potential interest in her and her interest in you. If you really want to date and be with a woman only talk to her if you intend on following through right there in the moment. When you talk to a woman and then not make your romantic/sexual interest known to her, she thinks you are either not interested in her or don't have the balls to ask her out or suggest something further. Going back to simply talk in the hopes of getting her to open up to you only works if you look like Brad Pitt or have $100 bills hanging out of your pockets and she saw you park your convertable BMW on the street. Otherwise don't bother.
Furthermore when she saw you around AFTER talking to you and ignored you, it is obvious that she is NOT INTERESTED and should be left alone.
The simple test of interest is non verbal. If she looks you in the eye for a second longer than normal. If she flings her hair. If she smiles at you or does something involuntary with her face such as a slight smirk - she is interested. If she does none of these things trying to get her to open up by telling her she will be interested in you and something to the effect making light of her interest, only makes you appear foolish.
It's best to pick up on her non-verbal clues - does she stay engaged, does she smile, does her body face yours, does she ask you questions, continue the conversation after a lull? If any, some or all of these things, you can easily suggest coffee or some form of activity together. Otherwise you'll be labeled a stalker or some sort of social outcast.
"Everything that a woman says or does only shows me that she wants me."
How’s that for arrogance? Actually, it’s called FLIRTING.
I don’t usually SAY this directly. It’s implied by my words and body language.
It’s a very useful flirting frame. It has its roots in the next frame:
There are only TWO basic emotions: LOVE and FEAR.
EVERY human emotion can be tied to love or fear, or some combination of the two.
So that this sinks in a little deeper, let’s take a look at some common human emotions and notice that they are LOVE OR FEAR BASED EMOTIONS:
Jealousy = FEAR
Hatred = FEAR
Happiness = LOVE
…And so on.
You get the idea.
So how does this frame apply to pickup and relationships?
Well let’s say for example that a woman is angry with me, and feels the need to YELL at me.
What do MOST people do when yelled at?
I think most people either:
a) Supplicate, apologize, and cower… Anything to avoid the confrontation.
b) Get angry back, and maybe even start yelling as well.
But if you were to realize that the person’s yelling in anger is actually FEAR-BASED, how would you handle it differently?
If someone is yelling at me, once I realize that they are yelling because they are SCARED of something, I literally feel no anger because I know where they are coming from: Fear! They don’t HATE ME they are just SCARED.
While there isn’t just ONE WAY of handling a situation like being yelled at, here are a few examples of what I might say, depending on the context:
Woman: "I’m so angry! Why would you say something like that…"
Guru master: "You seem upset."
This is a GREAT response because you are simply acknowledging how the person feels, rather than cowering or getting angry and demanding respect or something like that. The person will feel that you’re beginning to UNDERSTAND the situation, and will naturally calm themselves down because you are demonstrating EMPATHY.
Woman: "I hate you, how could you do that…"
Guru master: "That’s okay, let it all out. It’s important."
Rather than fight or flight, I simply ENCOURAGE her to KEEP GOING.
Why? I actually WANT to know how she feels, and I know she is AFRAID of something.
Woman: "You’re such an ASSHOLE!"
Guru master: "If you say so."
I included this one because the woman in this example has actually INSULTED me. This is called verbal abuse, and to me, abuse isn’t something that I’m prepared to tolerate.
But rather than get angry and fight back, I simply accept her accusation CALMLY, and a little sarcastically (to let her know that I don’t appreciate being verbally abused). This let’s her know that she cannot manipulate me.

If you are opening groups (or sets: 2-sets, 3-sets, mixed sets, etc) of people with the 3 second rule by stacking indirect openers (including false opinion openers), false time constraining (discovered by Style), demonstrating a higher value to your romantic interest’s peer group with high octane DHVs while she obliquely observes (locking her into her own set with a prop), and simultaneously performing false disqualifiers (which include negs) on her with the intention of disarming her peer group and then isolating her to rebuild her self-esteem once you have enough IOIs (indicators of interest) so you may share in a comfort and trust building effort and then build in a jealousy subplot to solidify her attraction for you, you are using The Mystery Method.
If instead you are only approaching women who are alone, you are greatly limiting your options and quite likely alienating your target's friends. Do you want a lonely woman (why is she lonely?) or a woman who already has a healthy social life? Truth is, healthy women have healthy relationships ... sometimes good friendships with guys. Like it or not, you will have to meet these women with men in her group.
