A guru master spots two college-age women playing hacky sack in a Plateau alley and stops beside them. He waits for the sack to come his way and deftly kicks it back. In less than 30 seconds, he's fully part of their game and is quizzing them on their likes and dislikes.
He turns up the heat by saying women feel more sexual pleasure than men. They giggle nervously.
"I'm just a really chatty guy," he excuses himself. "Tell me to buzz off and I will."
No, they tell the local guru, please stay. At one point, he makes a lewd joke, but instead of being turned off, the women laugh hysterically.
In five minutes he has their e-mail addresses and phone numbers. "And you can always find us here in this alley," they tell him before he leaves.
Guru takes a bow and turns to his student, who was watching everything. "OK, now you try it," he says.
Guru master, a 30-year-old who lives in N.D.G., wasn't always so confident in the art of seduction. He says he did have game in high school, where he was the guy all the boys hated. "I got girls like a rock star. I was the alpha guy," he says. But after high school, "I went from champ to chump. I didn't have my social circle to prop me up anymore, and that really beat my self-esteem down."
He says he quit his job as a salesman and began studying hypnosis, psychology, and the techniques of other self-made seduction artists. He honed his inner "sensitive bad boy," what he calls the "arrogant a-hole with unconditional love."
The bad-boy attitude works like this: He assumes women are attracted to him. He stands with his thumb hooked in the waist of his jeans and, in so many words, asks women to prove they're worth his time.
And if they are, he says, they receive his full, uncompromising affection. This, he says, is what draws them in.
He found himself scoring more phone numbers than his mentors, other pickup artists who make a living coaching the romantically destitute. They are all part of a global "seduction community" of men learning the secrets of attraction.
Today, he's the one dispensing advice. What began as a hobby six years ago, helping out friends eager to replicate his bad-boy aura is now a business. He will be one of dozens of seduction coaches revealing secrets of attraction at the three-day Cliff's List Seminar starting tomorrow at the Marriott Chateau Champlain.
The seminar is a live gathering of the more prolific writers - from as far as San Diego and as near as N.D.G. - on a Web site called cliffslist.com. The site is a popular forum for debates and tips on this most elusive of domains: the art of being good with women.
Cliff, a Montrealer who doesn't want his full name revealed, is a venerated figure in the global seduction community, an online gathering of consummate pick-up artists (PUAs) and average frustrated chumps (AFCs).
The men who will pay up to $800 to attend the seminar are not that different from other men, Cliff insists. "The difference is that the guys in this community think this is something that you can study and learn. Other guys think it should come naturally."
Those who study seduction think they have it distilled to a science.
"Of course, some guys use this material to manipulate and use women. It's like guns," Cliff says. "You don't know if people will use them for good or evil. But as a general rule, most guys I know are sincere about it."
One can also catch the guru in the metro handing out business cards to the lonely-looking or the downright obnoxious. In his lessons, he's not alone. His girlfriend, Ghita Jones, 19, provides the female touch.
While waiting for his student, Marco, to arrive on a sunny weekday, the local guru sizes up women outside the Mount Royal metro station. He's wearing a light blue paisley bandana, torn jeans and a loose sleeveless T. He stands with his head cocked.
"See her?" he says, pointing to a strawberry blond in a purple T-shirt standing by a fruit kiosk with her hair in a lax pony tail. "See how she stands and keeps her hand at her mouth? She's really shy. I'd approach her with a soft and gentle voice."
A coiffed brunette with Chanel shades and a tight white top struts out of the station, her nose aiming at the sky.
"Now her, she would think she's above me. I'd shout my opening line to her in a commanding voice," he says. "She needs to know I'm there."
As they walk to Lafontaine Park, one of the guru's favourite pickup spots, guru gives a pre-game briefing: "Walk real slow when you approach her. It will make you stand out.
"Stand at first perpendicular to the girl and slowly turn to her as she opens up to you.
"If you get nervous, remember to put your thumb in your back pocket."
He rolls up Marco's sleeves.
"That's hot," Jones says.
"My real mission in life is to increase the self-esteem of people," the guru says. "And this is the best way to do that, for both men and women.
"It depends on the man, but after six to 10 one-hour sessions with me, a guy will see huge improvements. He'll have got rid of shyness, his guilt, and learned how to reconnect with his heart.
"His life will feel like a dream."
It's not cheap. For phone consultations he charges $100 an hour, and $150 in person. (The guru says he also offers tips on sexual techniques, for which he employs a video demonstration and charges $300 an hour.)
Greg, a thirtysomething from Ontario, was once good with women. Then he became too corporate, he says. "I lost my mojo. I dressed more conservative. I became, in the end, a nice guy."
After two days with the guru, Greg, who spoke on condition his last name not be used, got a tattoo. He went to a club and approached 15 women, going home with two e-mail addresses.
"I wanted girls to see me more as a sexual guy, not a nice guy," he said. "But I still have a lot to work on. I still have to get away from seeking approval."
Jones says the biggest mistake for many men is the overly suave persona they put on. She slouches her shoulders and undulates them. "Hey baby, what's up?" she says in a low, mocking voice.
"Gross."
"That's a defence mechanism," the guru interjects. "It's a way to mask their fear of rejection."
"If a guy just came up to me and said, 'Hi, I'd like to talk to you,' I'd smile and talk to him," Jones says.
But to get there requires some cunning, the guru says. You need to hook a woman's attention with a non-threatening, indirect "opener," usually by asking her opinion on a hot topic. Marco is already armed with one: Who lies more, men or women?
He walks by three girls sitting on the grass. He looks at them, looks at the ground, and back at them. His face flushes. He goes for it.
"Excuse me, girls, I need your perspective on something," he announces and asks away. They respond with subdued interest and Marco stalls, uncertain how to proceed. He thanks them for their time and walks away.
"It's OK, man," the guru tells him. "Just approaching women like that is scary."
Marco doesn't feel defeated. "I just want to improve my confidence in approaching women. "Eventually, I want to get a girlfriend, but for now I want to be in a position where I make the choice, not the other way around."
Bad boy works, the guru says. "Nice guys don't think they're good enough, so they act extra nice to compensate for that. But the bad boy, he's honest. Girls like us because of that.
"Women in our society are conditioned to think they're made of gold," he says. "And that's really men's fault for putting them on a pedestal."
"Women don't want a suck-up," Jones adds. "We want a strong man who will teach us a thing or two about ourselves."

World’s experts converge this weekend to teach guys how to pick up chicks

Never approach a woman with flattery if you want to get her in the sack.
Though they disagree on much, the great seduction brain trust converge on a few morsels of wisdom. The flattery embargo is one bit of advice many of the generals in the armies of seduction coming to town this weekend agree upon.
What’s billed as possibly the world’s biggest-ever seduction seminar rolls into the Chateau Champlain, with an impressive assemblage of the top luminaries of love sharing tips with those who want better results with the chicks.
Over the last five years, demand for seduction advice has exploded. To answer the need, a crop of experts has sprouted up for sweaty-palmed gentlemen terrified by the bleak prospects of relentless lonely nights and a lineage that languishes and dies in their testes like sea monkeys out of water.
The manipulators of female affection are coming on the request of a publicity-shy Montrealer named Clifford, a natty and chatty 30-something who closely guards his name and occupation. He says many of the visiting PUGs (pick-up gurus) feel indebted to him, as his seven-year-old, not-for-profit Web site, http://www.cliffslist.com, launched lucrative careers teaching pickup skills.
Clifford says some of today’s experts were simple observers of the seductive arts. After posting their notions on his site, suddenly they were flooded with requests for advice and counsel, translating into full-time, well-paid careers selling books and DVDs.
All for the women
Cliff asks that his last name be withheld, as he worries that some might see the seduction industry in a bad light, although the women should be thankful, he argues, that men are overcoming their inhibitions. "I am trying to help guys become more successful with women, and that is in a woman’s best interest," he says.
And those unaware of the seductive arts are living in darkness, never knowing their true potential, he believes. As a result, they’ll end up with the women who choose them, rather than knowing the thrill of getting the girl of their choice. "They have to accept what is given to them by the women who choose them."
Montreal women take note: you might be approached by smooth-talking and wildly persuasive gentlemen this weekend. Internet discussions hint that the rare convergence of such top titans of desire could result in a long-promised showdown between the gurus, to see whose approach sweeps the women most efficiently off their feet.
But the main reason that the leading lotharios, including David DeAngelo, David Shade and Tyler Durden, are descending here is to help guys in that all-important, terrifyingly paralyzing moment, that make-or-break juncture for the male ego, the heart stopping instant you summon up your courage and approach a strange woman.
"A lot of guys have this fantasy of how they want the encounter to go," says Michael "Bishop" Emery, 39, a divorced father who launched his career as a seduction svengali seven years ago in Las Vegas. "They see it like a movie, where the hero is surrounded by villains. He’s out of ammo and doomed for sure, and there’s 15 guys on him, and he vanquishes them all with his will and might. They think, ‘I’m going to walk up to her and what I say is gonna get her attention and it’s going to go great.’ When it doesn’t, they get discouraged."
Once shot down, the man’s tattered ego is the only thing getting screwed. "He’s thinking, ‘I’m a dork and I look stupid,’" says Emery. "Women can pick up on that because he’s not behaving on where he is. To him, where he is isn’t good enough, and yet women want someone who’s himself."

cliffslist.com) might lay their faith in subliminal hypnosis known as neuro-linguistic programming (NLP), where would-be seducers employ "embedded commands," using such phrases as "below me" to subliminally suggest a woman to "blow me."
"There’s a big schism within the seduction community," says Wayne "Juggler" Elise, who started Charisma Sciences in Ann Arbour, Michigan, four yeas ago, and now has four employees. "You’ve got some NLP guys, others like [Toronto-native seduction guru] Mystery, who use ‘can openers’which are little stories they tell. I try the natural approach," meaning less of a reliance on special tricks and head games.
Elise says the typical guy becomes an adherent "after a breakup or after taking a girl out on three dates, spending lots of money on her and then being told she just wants to be friends."
It takes about three months to overcome bad habits, according to Elise. "The most common mistake is trying to be too safe, too conservative, caring too much about your success," he says. "Guys get too careful as each girl means too much to him." Elise also advises against button-downs and loafers. "I tell guys to dress a little crazier. Women see that and it lets them be crazy too, and express that part of themselves."
As in life, the searing pain of ego injury is a challenge. "Never take rejection personally," says Elise. "She’s not reacting to your real person. She’s reacting to her experience of being approached by every guy in the last 10 years."
And if all else fails: "Pretend you’re Colin Farrell. He’s so himself, he doesn’t care about how people perceive him."
Sex and status
Complimenting a woman is rarely advised by the pros. "You want to be able to deal with the woman as equals," says local psychologist and seduction savant Amir George "Doc" Sabonguim, 36. "If she sees you as being beneath her, then you have to either raise yourself or lower her. If she’s the hottest girl in the club and knows it, she’ll see you as a homeless guy walking to her. You have to equal the social status."
Sabonguim argues that perfecting one’s ability to win a woman’s heart is anything but a debauched goal. "The number one thing that predicts satisfaction in life is being able to find the right person. If you don’t have the skills to meet somebody, you’ll end up making a bad choice."
Another local set to impart his knowledge to the world is a local guru, 30, who teaches "unconditional love and deflecting negative energy." The local guru will also offer such practical advice on "how to deal with ass bandits, which is a guy who tries to steal your piece of ass."
His expertise also includes teaching women how to have "squirting orgasms. It’s not about, ‘Can I please stick my fingers in you?’ What we teach is good, sound, medical advice and massage techniques."
San Diego’s Steve Piccus, who bills himself as "the bad boy of hypnosis," promises the inner secrets of meaningful romance as well as the usual tips on sprucing up your sex life. "Look, anybody can get laid," he says. "All you do is go up to talk to women and they’ll lay you. I don’t care about that stuff. If you want to take it up a notch and talk from the heart, your world will change and theirs as well. That’s when you make the connection that rocks your world and leads to amazing sex."
Piccus suggests that the road to becoming a chick magnate lies deep within. "Clean up on the inside, they call that ‘inner game.’ Then, instead of being all raggy and trying to control you with her crotch, your woman will become snugly and sensuous."
The essential
lothario lexicon
A PUA (Pick-Up Artist) must sarge (approach a woman) upon sight, according to the 3S rule (approach her within three seconds of seeing her) or risk remaining an AFC (Average Frustrated Chump). He must deal with a myriad of potential obstacles, from an AMOG (Alpha Male Other Guy), or cockblockers (a friend or any other distraction that leads her to lose interest), or ASD (Anti-slut Defenceher hesitation based on guilt associated with promiscuity). Start with a neg (an observation about her designed to destabilize her ego), pull a PTS (Point To Self, a type of self-aggrandizing posture) and hope to overcome her bitch shield (anti-PUA defence mechanism). Make a SOI (Statement of Interestshe must know your romantic intentions) and use your toolbox to avoid sticking points (weakness in your game), and hope not to get a brush off from the UFEA (Universal Female Excuse Archive). Eventually you’ll cultivate IOI (Indicators of Interest), ultimately working towards the close (these vary from a kiss close, number close, fuck close). If seduction results, avoid the curse of one-itis (the idea that one woman is special to you)it could lead to a LJBF (Let’s Just Be Friends), which causes a disappointment, for which the PUA cure is GFTOW (Go Fuck 10 Other Women).

I watched an interesting program yesterday about Big Cat Man eaters. In one case, an English man (tiger expert) went for a walk in the jungles of Asia. A 500Ib tiger stalked him with deadly stealth, then charged him from about 100 yards. The Englishman stood his ground like a gunslinger eyeballing the tiger without flinching. At 50 yards the man, shouted with authority.
The tiger scared, screeched to halt, then eyeballed the man, then turned around reaching into the bush. Women are the same, simply stand your ground and they will melt. Apprehensive body language is not what women want. Simply slow time down and you can capture yourself (all those routines you learnt will suddenly come flying back into your mind /although not needed) and absorb the women.

This weekend I went down to watch the Gay Pride Parade in downtown Toronto. As I walked through the crowd I saw these three younger gay guys walk toward me. They were tanned, lean, ripped with the shirts off. Some girl behind me said "What a waste". I laughed because I thought that really all it takes is to look your best - a good tan, and being in decent shape to attract women, yet there are legions of guys out there eating at McDonalds who have not seen a treadmill or a gym in their life who practice their negs, or the next opener or some "active disinterest" in an effort to attract women....
On another note I am beginning to think that there exists some sort of a conspiracy within the "seduction" community meant to derail men from successfully connecting with women. When I read things such as "ask for the e-mail" or "be cocky" or "hit her with some negs" or "hide your interest" or "never pay for anything" or "never take her out on a date" or "put her down in some way" or "turn away when talking to her" I cannot help to imagine that someone out there is laughing at legions of poor guys who believe in this stuff, who go out there into the real world and get their butts kicked time and time again.
Basically you look your best and take the best care of yourself. You have to show interest, you have to take her out and pay for something, you have to complement her and let her know she looks great. And if she does not go along with what you want that is her choice and you have to accept it.
But most guys in the community have a hard time accepting this since when they have tried it, it did not work. So they revert back to doing back to women what women have done to them - ignore them, put them down, turn away, show no interest. If that is all you know and have seen in relations with women, these guys will naturally think that this is the normal and accepted way of relating. And if some poor woman does show interest in the guy, he ignores her, turns away or says something designed to undermine her - eg: he tells her she looks 35 when she looks 23 or that she weighs 150 when she really looks to be 115 or something to that effect.
And in this context it's easy to have some marketer exploit these vulnerabilities in these men by telling them fantastic and wild stories of success while at the same time giving them tips designed for failure. These men internalize these tips, ignore their physical appearance because "it does not matter" and go out there trying these techniques only to fail time and time again. In the end they come back to the "original system" for more techniques, eagerly await the arrival of the new CD or the new e-book and of course they spend more money.
You see, the incentive is to keep guys coming back for more and to spend more money. The best way to do that is to give them the illusion of potential success while really promoting failure only to have guys go out there, believe in the system, yet fail time and time again only to come back to buy the next cd or the next system, etc. as further clarification and update of what they learned before.
If you want to see this for yourself pick up any issue of Oprah magazine and read one of the articles about men. Most are filled with little in the way of positive comments. One recent feature on the 12 things you need to know about men,openly stated that men are like Neanderthals who know nothing and need to be told what to do and that the only purpose of a woman being with a man is to feminize him in her image. The article also suggested that any time a man does something remotely in his own interest a woman should raise her voice and now allow him to do anything for himself because by standing up for herself she will appear more attractive in his eyes and it will make him want her more.
But do these really work? There are legions of frustrated Cosmo women who cannot keep a guy beyond a few dates or who have feminized some poor guy to such an extent that she no longer finds him attractive. What do these women do?? They keep buying the next issue for more tips because after all it's Oprah or Cosmo. Very clever marketing designed to keep women buying and coming back for more...
And ask yourself - if you met some woman you found attractive and she ignored you, she told you you were fatter that you really were or that you looked older, & she yelled at you each time you talked, how long would it take before you bailed??? Not long.....
Be objective in your search. Your best guide is your own intuition and your own judgement. Star Wars was such as success because it shook the very core of our being - the force indeed exists - a silent deep inner voice that guides us and is unique to each one of us. Trust your own judgement and if something does not feel right, it's not.
Most things that work are simple. One solid principle is worth a thousand techniques. Find that one, and it makes everything else clear.
Clifford's Comments: I have no doubt that what you are doing is working for you. The thing is, I think you might be surprised to find out that, properly executed, a lot of what is talked about in the community does work. The thing is that most guys never get good enough at what they are doing to really experience the potential of what is being taught (re-read the Brian interview in my archives for a good example). I suggest you might be more open minded when you see the skilled guys pull off some pretty amazing things.

I work in sales and I realized that there are parallels between the two processes.
When we have a promotion and we offer a free sample people call in and act all excited and interested, trying to get us to believe they will buy if we give them some free leads. In the end after they get what they want for free, we never hear from them, nor do they buy. Once they get their free sample, their level of excitement drops off.
The people that do buy see the value and the superiority to our product and service because it meets their needs and they see it. They are more calm and cool and discuss the issues at hand, their needs, pricing, conditions for sale. They are already sold on our product and all we need to do is figure out what to offer them and on what terms.
It's the same in the dating world. Women who tend to act all excited tend to be after free attention - most of the time. The ones that want more than that tend to be a bit more deliberate in their approach. And really as in sales women when they see some guy in whom they are interested, they engage because they are already sold. All we need to do is to figure out what they are open to and on what terms. So in plain terms we need to be our best in terms of who we are first and foremost. That is what attracts women since when you are at your best so will your actions follow.

3LR: Auld Lang Syne
So I went to El Rio last night for dollar drink night.
Had some vegan Sloppy Joes at my friend’s house, then bounced to the spot. I get there and there is a LONG LINE out front. I’m like, holy shit, I haven’t seen a line here since the old glory days of Rio. Awesome.
I walk directly to the front of the line and push my way through. But the timing is wack, and right as I get up, the door guy is yelling at people to back up, and I get rebuffed. I’m stunned, I walk back outside and pretend to be on my cell phone so I don’t look like a chode (lame, I know).
Up rolls ChessClub. I broke up with her a couple weeks ago. We still work together on workshop, but this is the first time I’ve seen her in a social setting since the breakup. I say hello. I ask her if she wants to try some game out together, if it doesn’t work out, we’ll split up and it’s every man for himself, no harm no foul. She agrees.
Then this other chick appears… she’s some chick I opened on boot camp several weeks ago, and Chessy and I had been trying to bang. Thing is, sometimes you get one of these chicks who likes the IDEA of a threesome, but when push comes to shove will not do it. Like, every time we would have her meet us, she would have at least one friend in tow. The sister, the co-worker, sometimes even the boyfriend. The chick gets off on the WHIFF of kinky sexuality, but is in reality a fuckin pussy. So I’ll call her HB FakeBi. Sure enough, tonight she’s here with four guys, including the boyfriend. I’m like, "Fuck this chick, I’ve had it. Fresh chicks only tonight. Fuck this bitch… GANGSTA!" This becomes my catch phrase for the evening, along with "Need mah DRANK!!"
But I’m still stunned from not getting in. It doesn’t help that I’m stoned out of my fucking mind. I call Christophe, who’s already inside. "Wherrre ze fuck ahr zhou?" he says. It sounds super loud in there, like an F-16 taking off.
"I couldn’t get past the line, what should I do?"
"What ze FUCK mahhn, just walk past ze lahn! What zze fuck ahr zhou theeenkeeen Djzhefphheee?" I realize he is correct, and simply walk up again. Thugs are staring me down as I brush past. I just shout, "GANGSTA! Need mah DRANK!!!" The door guy sees me this time and lets me in, along with Chessy. We leave that other chick HB FakeBi outside. "See you in there!"
It is PACKED, nice. I get mah drank, two vodka tonics, no straw. $2.
There are tons of asf type doodz there, Organic, some ex-students, etc. Amusing, they all greet Chessy quite warmly. "Heeeey girl!!!" Big hug. Funny, I mention the breakup offhanded once in chat and somehow everyone knows a day later. LOL this community can be like a buncha little gossipy bitches sometimes, can't it? Hey it's all good guys, have at it, if you dare!
We post up out back on the deck and start scanning the crowd. HB FakeBi finally gets in, and I’m being fairly dismissive of her. Some dude she’s with asks me how we know her. I say, "Her? We fucked her." He looks really disturbed, hopefully he will tell the BF. I laugh. Then we start flagrantly scoping targets.
Christophe says, "Hey mahn, peek zee hardezd set een hair, I don geeva FUCK!" I point, he shoots, blows some dumbass out. I laugh and stop paying attention after that, because we open some drunk chicks halfheartedly.
I see that backwards hat chode, the guy I hate solely because of the way he dresses. Remember, this is the guy I tooled a few months ago by going tug-of-war on his ass, then I drove by with the chicks in my car screaming Eazy-E, only to have the chick get out a block later and run back. At the time I was humiliated because of my grandstanding, but I found out later that he had already gone by the time she got back, so I actually WASN’T tooled! Yeeeah boyee! Anyway, there he is, and he has the de rigueur chode backwards baseball cap, and tonight he’s wearing… no… a blue button down shirt and khaki pants… CLASSIC CHODE! Oh man, he’s got some hottie on his shit, how does this guy do it? Because to me, he looks like a cretin… I simply cannot stand the THOUGHT of this guy pulling HBs, which is why I stole his chicks that other time. Time to do it again!
I have Chessy roll up on him, he sees her and instinctively pulls his target close… heheh. She tries to tool him, but doesn’t do it hard enough. He says to his target, "We go way back…" and shoots a furtive glance at me. I approach and start in… he wisely takes the first break in the convo and literally pulls the girl away, takes her to the other room. Smart guy. Looks like he learned his lesson, he gets some tonight.

Fidentia Workshop Review Zagreb , May 2005
Participants: 2 teachers, Shark & Attila & 2 students, Alek & Olaf (author of this review)
This review I write more than 6 weeks after finishing the bootcamp. From this long time perspective I can say, that my feeling that it was worth every penny did not fade away. I am still stoked about these few days in Zagreb.
My background: started caring about pickup and stuff about 5 months ago with DeAngelo material, especially the interview series. This was the wake up call. I wanted to attend a bootcamp with Mystery then, but as he has no camps in Europe (I am a German), he recommended Badboy. So I took a BB bootcamp. That was the shocker. The red pill.
The next month, when I got aware of the huge potential differences between direct and indirect, I went to the US and took a bootcamp with Mystery.
Next thing I remember was the urgent wish to go to the source of all direct, which is Shark. His CD was mind-boggling, so I wanted to give it a try. As he is doing business with Fidentia, it was labeled as a Fidentia bootcamp. I cannot say much about the US part of Fidentia’s camps but as far as I follow the discussions in their forum, they are very much congruent with each other.
I’m sure people want to know which of those 3 workshops is good and which is not. All I will say here concerning the comparison of the camps is the following: If God would turn back the time and let me keep my memories, I would repeat all I did in the exact same sequence. That’s for sure.
What are the unique non-functional qualities of the Fidentia (Europe) camp? First of all it is the incredible ratio of students and teachers. We were 2 students and 1 teacher all the time, with Attila doing about 70-80% of the teachings and the in-field-work, Shark doing the remaining 20-30 %. As my fellow buddy student Alek has been around the community for some while and has read any literature and posting available in the area of seduction and pickup, I felt like I was in a 1 on 1 learning environment all the time. The speed of progress we had was high. This is remarkable because I had already absorbed the biggest shocks available (concerning social conditioning = matrix) in another workshop before. Combine this teacher to student ratio with the cheapest price available for a 3 day bootcamp, plus the cheap environment (Croatia), & I definitely got the most out of my money here.
But as many of you may have noticed while reading this, I don’t think money matters so much when it comes to making a decision on whether to go to camp A or B. Way more important is the sort of school, which philosophy one wants to dive into. It is all about the functional qualities of the camp. I cannot compare Karate with Judo and Aikido and Tae-kwon-Do and then tell you which one you have to go to. You have to decide what you want to become. And if you decide to walk direct style and overcome any anxiety around game, then it is guaranteed that you get exactly what they promise you.
Now I will dive into my memories of certain things of the bootcamp. We met on the first day in Zagreb at the main square with Attila and Ranko(Shark) to talk about the schedule, then immediately we started the first lesson with Attila at a bar in a sort of amusement/recreational park. Attila evaluated our exact position in life and especially pickup. This was done in order to find out our sticking points quickly. I liked it because it gave me the feeling of individual attention. Then we immediately started with cold approaches in various cafes and restaurants nearby. After some minor hesitation we got warm with the situation pretty soon and sarged with increasing success and fun. We got comfortable and got stoked pretty soon. Our mentor Attila was a blank sheet before that lesson to me, I have just trusted Shark in co-teaching him. The trust was warranted as we knew pretty soon. Attila has a great attitude along with being a sensitive teacher. He kicks ass AND can deeply feel what you feel , which is my definition of a "warrior with empathy". The only problem I remember was that he is good looking, large and strong with a nice smile (always). For my own taste, this makes him not a good role model to mimic, because one cannot mimic a genetic proposition. Anyway, the first lessons went on pretty good and we got a rest before we headed to the night life. I remember positively that Attila didn’t carry a wagon of wisdom and techniques to remember, just pure points, that are easy to remember. Those points we practiced and deepened on this afternoon. I got several "aha"- emotions.
Ok, later that evening we jumped through some bars and dance clubs, working on several issues. As for Alek’s and my’s sticking points, all I can say is that these ones were really taken care of. We made progress so that every club got a new highlight. A further advantage was, that Attila got accompanied by his girlfriend. To have a female on your side who knows about game and what we are doing is fantastic. Several times I enjoyed her encouragement and insights from "the other side of the fence", which is like how I come across. In combination with Attila’s observations and advice, I got to know a lot about calibration along with how to adapt to circumstances.
Next afternoon I met Shark and he explained his whole philosophy to me. Again, like Attila, he dived into my head in order to find sticking points and limiting beliefs. I really enjoyed that talk and went then to the lessons with Attila, which we spent in street cafes and bars. No special workshop rooms were needed.
These lessons were all about getting rapport with girls. Not so much about approach (this one was the first day’s main concern), but more with making progress and going deep with the girl. The material presented was profound and again brought to the point. As Alek and I were still stoked from the day before, we wouldn't have eaten up too much stuff anyway, so I guess Attila adapted to his student’s wishes concerning content and speed of the lessons. I cannot point out enough the value of the coach to student ratio. Amazing. We didn't have to deal with a zillion facts, just with appropriate information and material, that fits Alek’s and my situation most. This was good because there was no time to go through material and memorize much before going to the clubs.
The clubbing that night was again a follow-up of the day with practicing rapport and situational comfort. Attila’s girlfriend joined again and we had a really great time. My fellow student Alek and me became really good wings. Attila focused on winging tactics a lot and gave some positive examples in real life, which I didn't really value as I stated before, because for a role model he is just too good looking. His comments and immediate feedback scenarios have been really key for us. Sometimes it is a really small change you have to make to attain a completely different behaviour from the people around you. And this is not only true for girls but for AMOGs and bitchy girlfriends as well. Very nice. Again, he is a really good teacher.
As for the third day, we finally have the whole afternoon with Shark. Two topics, presented with lots of verve and genuine feeling: first of all, Shark talks about overall frame and state-control. But Alek and me both know his CD pretty well and we discussed a lot of thoughts of our own and how they fit into this overall frame. The absolute wall-hitter has been the topic of limiting beliefs. This was key because I carried a lot of them with me. To learn and hear how ridiculous all this wrong conditioning is, opened new doors inside my soul that I thought were closed forever. And therefore Shark works as a good role model as well. I am sure all the guys who listened to his CD wondered about his high voice. Well, it's not really a deep, resonant, male voice. To listen how he got over his own limiting beliefs is worth this extra line, I think.
Anyway, the second big topic for this afternoon has been street sarging. New and proven insights and concepts from Ranko’s side made us pretty nervous so that we started the practical part with major concerns. But with the wisdom of the overall frame and how the matrix works concerning people’s social interactions we finally started our approaches. Ranko gave a real world example on its own. I was surprised a lot because he actually didn’t change his posture or voice or anything when he opened a girl. He was just the nice, smiling, friendly Shark we just spoke with, before he went to a direct approach a couple of meters away. This was very different to other direct approaches I have seen before. I realized that it is not about being a tough, cool John Wayne type of guy. Instead just your ordinary behaviour, which is to be comfortable in your own skin and overcome your fears and PROGRESS.
Then, we started by ourselves and no matter if alone or if winging each other, we overcame our fear and got better and better. Shark was constantly watching and correcting our body language. For myself, it was mainly facial expressions, a few minor changes caused a completely different outcome. After a few hours in the nearby shopping mall with many women, we reached our maximum of "stoked-ness". I am sure I speak for Alek as well. Very tired and happy, Shark sent us to catch some sleep. I mean really, he commanded us to sleep and shut up for a couple of hours. A good idea as I soon realized that I was sleeping stone-dead until my clock woke me up right on time to attend the last night with Attila and his girlfriend.
And I finally followed Shark’s advice to not wear expensive suits or pimp outfits (peacocking), but instead just being casual like the worst AFC. After overcoming some major resistance in my head, I destroyed even this limiting belief. Shark had told me about how a poor student his co-teacher Attila is and that he only wears a very simple outfit. When I saw him (Attila) doing an approach on a 5 set that I had gotten blown out of, I realized that it is not about the outfit at all. The girls don’t pay attention to your clothing as soon as you open your mouth and show REAL qualities. And he (Attila) was not even in high energy party mode at this loud party. He was just over friendly and smiling and genuinely interested in them. The girls immediately started to lean into him, hanging on his lips to not lose anything from his mouth. In fact, it impressed me so much, that I now like to fly below the radar screen a lot when it comes to sarging, because nobody thinks you are in competition in the mating dance anymore, hahaha.
This last night was the absolute highlight of the bootcamp. Huge progress combined with relaxed vibe and fun. Really, seduction is fun, not stress. Do it the relaxed way and you do it the right way. With sharpening our winging skills in terms of separation, Attila gave some more in field experience to us and we finished the final tasks. The last memory I remember early next morning when dawn was my signal to catch my airplane, was a t-shirt and a CD with some more material Attila handed over to us. The printing on the shirt said: "Yes, I fuck on the first date."
A remarkable workshop had ended. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and the relaxed style. Direct game is not necessarily a cool-style, bad-jerk-style kind of game. You can present yourself in a friendly manner, lots of smiling included, and still be an alpha guy who doesn’t give a shit. To see that women especially look for confident guys who don’t look dangerous from the first impression has been a major insight and will (and did) improve my game. That’s for sure.
The weeks after the workshop have been had ups and downs for me concerning applying the tools and beliefs of the camp. I really enjoyed the support we (the former students) get through the Fidentia forum. It was sometimes a little shocking for me to realize that I had the right knowledge but did not apply it. Instead I applied something different, because I thought, it is not that important anymore. False thinking. First of all, copy exactly. If you have major game, you can adapt and experiment as much as you can. I also realized that most of the mistakes came from mixing up the different schools (direct vs. indirect) within the same approach. This comes across as very incongruent. I will now continue with straight direct game for a while in order to perfect it. I know that some day I will experiment with being indirect again, because it is so much fun as well.
Conclusion:
With the success in and after the Fidentia workshop in mind, I highly recommend everybody attending one. Prizes and teacher-student ratio may have been unique in this one and will vary with growing success and mouth to mouth propaganda, but as I stated before, the content is the key.
You might have noticed that I very much liked being together with my fellow student Alek. Actually one cannot blame the teacher for the other students. But in this case I will make an exception. Because Shark has such a good reputation and his CD hit home for both of us, it seems like this attracted compatible wings to the same place at the same time. A very happy constellation and coincidence. Yip Yip Hurra.

This is a short post for those of you who would like to learn "direct".
First thing you must know is that the word "direct" may sound strange but I've chosen such a word because when I introduced my experiences to the community everybody was totally indirect, they were all trying to hide their intentions and pretend to be somebody else. So that is why I chose the word direct.
But don't be afraid. I know that many of you if you had to approach that beauty with "I like you, I would like to get to know you" you are feeling full of fear.
That is because of two reasons:
1. Society's programming in your head must stop for you to get the girl even though you are not rich, good looking, famous, OR DIDN'T SPEND THE WHOLE DAY LEARNING TEXT SO THE BRAIN CAN GIVE YOU APPROVAL.
2.The people who made the community before me advocated totally different view on the game. If you like, study what they did and make your own judgements. My view is diametrically opposite.
The first blocker is extremely powerful. EXTREMELY.
Could you run into a wall of bricks? Not really. It is because of social conditioning. We have all been raised and conditioned in society. The conditioning is there to keep society moving forward. If you run into a wall of bricks, society loses a member. If you are an average guy that would make a hot women pregnant, her super genes are wasted totally so you must be stopped at all costs!
So because of these two large blockers you must advance step by step. It takes alot to reprogram your mind. Many guys have done it and so will you. Just remember to target THE EXCUSES IN YOUR MIND and not let them guide you and you will improve. That is the only way.....many guys did it but remember it takes some effort, there is no gain without effort. It is your choice.

Melbourne Lair: The place, an open shopping center in the heart of the city. I sit down at the food court and wait for familiar faces to arrive. I picked the location of this months meeting of the Melbourne Lair, Its great to have it in an informal place like a food court, sets a nice relaxing mood. Once everybody arrives we push some tables together and start the meeting. We discuss peoples sticking points and offer suggestions, we tell stories of crash and burns and success stories. We just shoot the sh*t, it f*cking great to meet up with like minded people. While telling someone my smurf routine, I see two guys get up from the table and start walking away, I glance back later to see them sitting with a girl, these guys are approach machines.
The meeting goes on way too f*cking long, everybody's got a story to tell, advice to offer, we could talk to each other for days. I feel like this is Ocean's 11 and we are planning the big heist. There is the leader, he started the group. The guru, he's an encyclopedia of info. There is the joker, he can't stop negging and teasing everyone; f*cking Canadians. There's the approach machines, they can't follow the conversation because they are too busy following the nearest piece of ass. There is the SSer, the grease boy and of course Brad Pitt. We all exchange numbers before leaving and make plans for sarging during the week. If there is a Lair in your area, join it, if there isn't, start one of your own. You will not regret it.

If you are opening groups (or sets: 2-sets, 3-sets, mixed sets, etc) of people with the 3 second rule by stacking indirect openers (including false opinion openers), false time constraining (discovered by Style), demonstrating a higher value to your romantic interest’s peer group with high octane DHVs while she obliquely observes (locking her into her own set with a prop), and simultaneously performing false disqualifiers (which include negs) on her with the intension of disarming her peergroup and then isolating her to rebuild her self-esteem once you have enough IOIs (indicators of interest) so you may share in a comfort and trust building effort and then build in a jealousy subplot to solidify her attraction for you, you are using The Mystery Method.
