What do you want? What do you admire? Why are you here, and why are you doing this?
Is it the sex? Is that why? Is that why you face the terror you face? Why you struggle to master pickup lines and pickup theory? Why you embrace humiliation like a prodigal son? Is it really? Just the sex? Really?
Is it the beauty? Is that it? Is it the rapture of a finely chiselled skull overlaid with perfect skin? Are you enthralled by image alone? By patterns of reflected light? Is this you? Is that why you spend nights out alone fighting the urge to cower and cry? Is that really all it is?
Is it the glory? Is that it? To have other men look upon you with awe? To be the man who is always deferred to, the man in command? Is that why you do this? Is that why you layer pressure over guilt on yourself for each night you spend alone? For glory? Is that why you hate to sleep in your immaculate bed in your perfect room that you crafted as a Venus fly trap for the ladies you relentlessly fail to bring back? Is that why? For glory? Really?
Is it power? Is that what you want? Power? To know all the words? To know the rules and all the skills? To develop technique to a transcendent level of mastery? Is that why you approach and approach until you look around a crowded bar and know for sure that every single woman in there has heard your shit, and shrugged it off? So that one day you will have power? Is it just about power for you? Honestly?
Is it revenge? Is it vengeance you seek for all the women who ever ignored you? Do you want to silence the sneering you've seen for so long in the faces of those girls who believed themselves too good for you? Do you want to fuck them to prove them wrong? Honestly? Do you wish to return to them in full the gift they gave you? That relentless gift of abundant contempt? Is that it? Really?
Or is it something else entirely?
Is it freedom? Is that what you seek? Do you fight so that one day, finally, you will be free? That you will feel worthy and redeemed? That you'll no longer be that lonely geek, crunching numbers in desperate isolation to find the answer that others less than you seem simply to know? Is that why you read page after page of type, sifting field reports and testing tactics? Is that why you fight?
Is it defiance? Is that why you don't give in? Is it the simple, bloody-minded refusal to surrender? Is it that you refuse to accept, in the face of all reason, that your fear is stronger than your will? Is it your defiance of your own doubt itself that keeps you on your feet and moving forward, bruised, battered, but resolute? Is it the rage you feel against all the things that hold you back that drives you to take arms against them, to take arms against a sea of troubles, and by opposing end them? Is that closer to the mark?
Is it weariness? Is that why you can't let the dream die? Is it that you have grown sick and tired, bored to your hind teeth, of hurting inside? Has something, some situation, some girl, some heartbreak made it abundantly clear to you that something inside you was rotten and weak? Did you decide to change? Did you decide that whatever happened from this day on you were not prepared to follow the same old patterns of pain? Were you sick of watching the back of a different girl's head walk away from you over and over? Did you just get tired? Did you want to see something else? See a new path? Just for the sake of novelty?
Is it hope? Is that what bears you up inside? Has a wild and desperate hope risen within you? Is that it? That for the first time in your life you've found a whole new path to tread? Is it that you are willing to brave the cruel and unforgiving road you see ahead because you see something glimmering in the distance? Can you see something far away that is as yet indistinct, but which sings to your very heart like the promise of home?
Is it love? Is it that you want so much just to be loved? Do you want with every atom of your being to look into the eyes of an amazing woman who takes your breath from your chest, and see love, see real love shining back at you? Do you want someone to give a shit when you feel sad? To be happy for you when you feel happy? To be proud of you when you excel, and to catch you when you fall? To wrap their arms around you late at night, and rest their beautiful head on your chest like they trust you more than they trust themselves? Do you want someone tremendous to see you clearly, and with all your faults still see you as a hero? Do you want someone incredible to see you as a man? Someone miraculous to see you as her miracle? Is it love that makes you fight so hard for this? Is it love that brought you here?
Is it love?
Is it love, you crazy fool? Is that what this is about?
For the longest time, I felt justified in working to better my 'game'. I felt that it was a valid thing for a man to pursue. I felt there were pitfalls and traps, but that it was something that was, fundamentally, okay.
I no longer feel that way. I think there are two kinds of people in this community.
There are heroes, and there are the rest.
When I talk of the rest, I'm not condemning anyone. There was a long, long time when sex, beauty, glory, power and revenge were the palette from which I coloured my vision of the future. They are stark colours. Primary colours. Vivid. Entrancing. Larger than life. Too good to be true.
But the heroes are the ones who fight for their freedom. They are armoured by their defiance. They are seasoned and weathered by weariness. They are driven by hope. They are inspired by love.
What we are doing here is noble. Not just okay. Noble. I think it's time someone said that. It is a noble thing to do, to pit your own strength against the fear that controls you. It is a noble thing to try to change your life. It is a noble thing to defy the patterns fate has set
for you. It is a noble thing to forge your destiny. It is a noble thing to forge yourself. It is noble to face pain and fear and humiliation in the name of love.
But this thing we are attempting is extreme. There are so many powerful and negative emotions that we each have built up inside of us for so long that facing them can be fucking dangerous. There are so many things here in this internal world we have set ourselves to conquering that will fight us every inch of the way, distract us with awesome displays of light and colour, test our resolve and challenge our morality, twist and warp the deepest parts of who we are.
Focusing your mind on sex, beauty, glory, power and revenge will destroy you. I really believe this. All the experience of my life has shown me that this is true. There's no limit to the damage these hungers can do if left unchecked. But I'm not moralizing, I swear it. It's really hard to tear yourself away from all the visions of glory and wild abandon that seem so real you could reach out and touch them.
But those who are able to tear themselves away from dreams, those who even attempt to master the art of self-possession, those who fight - regardless of the level of their skill - without let or hindrance, those who throw their heart into each approach, each phone number, each kiss - each woman - they are heroes to me. They are heroes. They fight. They fight fear. They fight it all the time. They fight it every day.
They fight it.
They fight it and they win.
What they do is noble.

It was a perfectly normal Saturday afternoon. I was going to visit my girlfriend later in the day, but until then it was time to run the usual slate of typical, mundane errands.
Even though I was in a relationship at the time, I had learned from my research on men and women that ‘style’ was important so I had some nice jeans and a button down shirt on. My belt and my shoes matched, and I was in "Successful Guy Saturday Casual" mode.
After a quick trip to the post office and a stop at the bicycle shop, it was time to go to Target. I needed several things, so I got a cart.
I had checked off toothpaste, light bulbs and a couple items from the automotive department when I happened to see someone I knew at the end of the aisle. I had only met her once, but she was a friend of my girlfriend’s. So I knew I had better say "hello". After all, "making nice" with the girlfriend’s friends is always a plus.
She didn't appear to notice who I was, so as I reached where she was I tapped her shoulder with the back of my hand and said (simply), "Hey!". She turned and responded back with a reciprocal "Hey!", with a warm smile and that classic "eyebrow flash" that the body-language books talk about.
"So it looks as if even super heroes like you and I still have to shop for normal, everyday stuff at the Target, right?", I said, noticing a few stray items in her shopping cart.
"I suppose!", she acknowledged with a laugh.
I continued with very typical small talk after that. As the conversation continued, I started feeling something strange…if not downright creepy.
My girlfriend’s friend, if my mind wasn't playing tricks on me, was starting to behave in a manner that I would ALMOST call…FLIRTATIOUS.
I was caught off guard. After all, if what I was seeing was really happening, it was COMPLETELY INAPPROPRIATE. After all, not only was I dating this woman's friend…this woman was MARRIED!
So I maintained that 18" distance that social mores dictate is proper, while continuing with perfectly normal conversation. But soon, there was no denying the body language. She was clearly enjoying the interaction, and eventually made a comment or two that were unmistakably forward.
At this point I was going out of my way to not appear romantically interested in return. Yet, I couldn't help the thoughts that were racing in my mind. This woman was CLEARLY ATTRACTED to me. On top of the impropriety of it all, I was struck by the improbability of it all. This woman was 15 years my junior and at least FIVE INCHES TALLER than me!
Now, let me level-set here. My girlfriend at the time was a beautiful woman, and her friend was likewise very attractive. So here we had a situation where a woman who was not my type at all, and indeed not one of the ones I would immediately picture going after a guy like me, was UNQUESTIONABLY INTERESTED.
At that point I realized that this conversation needed to end…and soon, for obvious reasons. To that effect I said, "Well, time to get back to shopping. But I'll tell [my girlfriend’s name] you said "hello’."
There was a slight pause. Then a quizzical look from the woman.
"Uh…who’s [my girlfriend’s name]?", she wondered.
I looked back with an equally querulous expression. "…Aren’t you Jennifer?"
"Um…nooooooo…my name is Felicia."
With my mind racing in several different directions, I happened to look down and noticed there was no ring on her left hand.
I spontaneously laughed, and explained to her what had just happened. The woman really was a dead ringer for who I thought she was.
She responded with warm eyes and a feminine giggle. "So that’s…IT...?", she said with one raised eyebrow and a motion of the hand to indicate continuation.
I politely ended the conversation there anyway, of course, because I had a girlfriend, and returned to shopping.
But I was changed forever.
Why?
I had read time and again about how over 90% of men have some fear of approaching women. Furthermore, I had read about how the single most important factor in GETTING OVER that fear is to simply GO OUT AND MEET WOMEN. The problem is that most of the time we as guys can't get out of our own way when doing so…assuming we get up the guts to even try.
So, in one brief exercise and by total accident. I had unequivocally proven what it takes to successfully meet women. Ironically, the "success" was overwhelmingly due to the fact that I wasn't trying to "pick this woman up". So what’s going on there?
Let’s outline the key principles and components of that experience at the Target:
1) I had started the day making sure I looked my best. I was READY for an interaction with a woman…if not the woman at the Target.
2) I had NO HIDDEN AGENDA with this woman from a sexual perspective. There was nothing about my approach that caused her to put her guard up. I was just making normal conversation. As such, there was a comfortable atmosphere surrounding the whole thing.
3) Based on the fact that I believed I already knew this woman, I was 100% CONFIDENT that I wouldn't be flatly rejected when I spoke to her. Think about it. If you behave as if you are sure that talking to someone will be met with a positive response, you will not be nervous or sketchy about it at all.
4) My "opener" with her was a simple "Hey!" with a light, backhanded whack on the shoulder. NO FANCY LINES that would have sounded contrived.
5) This was not a bar or some other special "pick up joint". This was the TARGET!
Bear in mind that this woman, although very beautiful, was not at all the type of woman I would ever see myself approaching or see myself with. And consider that it took virtually no direct effort to impress her.
What appeared to "impress her" was the sincerity and confidence portrayed in simply wanting to talk to her.
THAT’S IT.
There is no doubt that this woman perceived my approach as being related to her being a woman and me being a man. Although I was not even close to who the "media" would match her up with, the combination of facility, confidence and a low-pressure approach WORKED WONDERS. For you ladies who may be reading, that kind of attitude is what you look forward to when it comes to men approaching you, is it not? Don't shout me down for telling the truth!
After that day, I made sure that my "accidental discovery" became firmly embedded into my conscience. After that, talking to any woman I want anywhere has been all about considering her someone I already know, and affording her the simple respect that goes along with it. No woman has ever been a "stranger", ever since.
Guys: If you have any trepidation at all when it comes to meeting a woman you find attractive, learn from this lesson and I assure you your life will be radically transformed. You have the ability to meet any woman you choose to. Make it so.
Ladies: Here’s to more guys learning what I learned that day. I know you all are patiently waiting…

I want to comment on TigerWolf's fantastic post regarding
the subconscious mind. I am in 100% agreement with everything he says,
it's all spot on. One thing I would like to add is that when working
with autosuggestion (also known as affirmations), it's a good idea to do
it in a trance state. The reason for this that you want to bypass the
conscious mind which questions everything. If you tell your self
you're living in a penthouse and you're living in a rat infested dump,
your conscious mind will go *BULL----* and hamper the effectiveness
and speed of the programming.
On the other hand, in trance you can take the case straight to the
subconscious which questions nothing and can't discern between what's
real and what is the imagination. If you affirm that you live in a penthouse, the
subconscious doesn't concern itself with your present situation. It
doesn't care that you've been eating uncooked ramen because the
electricity was cut off two days ago, it simply gets to work bringing
you the circumstances and people who will put you in that penthouse.
Here is a very easy way to put yourself in a mild state of
self-hypnosis. It's an exercise called the Mirror Technique. It's very
potent. You stand in front of a mirror, full length if you have it, but
you should ideally be able to see at least to your waist. Stand 6 - 8
inches from the mirror. Stand straight, feet shoulder length apart.
Look your self directly in the eyes and state your affirmation. This is
a very easy and effective method. There are also many good books on how
to self-hypnotize yourself. I'll recommend two favorites.
One is The Silva Mind Control Method by Jose Silva. Excellent book with
very easy to use techniques for going into trance (the book refers to
this as going to "level"). A true classic that been around for 40 years and
can be found used on-line and off for $2-3 bucks.
The second is a book perfect for beginners called Instant Self-Hypnosis. It
has thirty-five scripts and the very best part is that you hypnotize
yourself while you read! This is a good thing to use if you want to
read the suggestions as TigerWolf recommends. A couple of added
bonuses are that it teaches you how to write your own self-hypnotic
scripts as well as showing you how to hypnotize yourself while you
write! The author is Forbes Robbins Blair, he has a website and
personally answers emails. It really doesn't get any easier than this
book. And if you're a cheap bastard that will balk at the paltry $14.95
price, then relax. The Make More Money script will give you a sizable
return on investment.
And of course, do the work daily. I recommend 30 days minimum.

KEY FACTORS TO DEVELOPING NATURAL SUCCESS
The reality about me is that human EMOTION fascinates me. It's the reason that I don't just "dig" movies, music, art and great stories and books, I'm kind of obsessed with it, with not only experiencing it, but also CREATING it.
It's a free country, so everyone should do what they want, but to me personally, living life without experiencing all that awesome stuff is like being asleep.
What does this have to do with attracting the kind of women that make guys freeze in their tracks?
EVERYTHING.
Most guys are focusing on the "sex" part of picking up women.
They're focusing and thinking "How do I get her into BED????"
Now, I'm not saying that women don't enjoy sex. In fact, they probably enjoy it more than men but you can't SKIP to that stage unless you are dealing with a very desperate woman.
The standard advice you hear is that you shouldn't "skip a stage", and that you have to first capture a woman's interest, etc., but guys are all to often doing this from the standpoint of INSINCERITY. One extreme is sincere neediness, but the other extreme is just as bad. (And may very well come from the same source: feeling insecure around women, resulting in a pick-up strategy that dehumanizes women.)
So many of these guys who say "don't skip a stage" would in fact very much LIKE to skip a stage. It’s just not something "strategic" to skip a stage, so they try to not skip a page. But the real solution is to develop a different attitude, so that your interest in not skipping a stage is NATURAL.
WHY do you think it is that guys are so quick to want to skip a stage and women who are hot don't want to skip stages? (aside from total party girls, etc.).
Why don't WOMEN who are gorgeous want to skip a stage? Trust me, it's NOT because women are less into sex.
If anything, they're MORE into sex. The REAL reason is because women who are attractive have STANDARDS.
Sex is great, but it's not enough, otherwise EVERY guy who approached her would be fine.
So guys come up with "tactics" to show "disinterest" or tactics to show this fake thing or that fake thing.
Unless, of course, the "tactics" are not in vogue that season, so then they advise to stay away from tactics.
The REAL issue is not superior tactics. It is if a guy OR a woman has STANDARDS, then you NATURALLY aren't going to feel like jumping into sex with someone just because they are THERE.
That's SCARCITY type thinking. Which is ironic, because you would imagine that if you really had the ability to attract lots of women, you would not have to worry about "how to get straight to bed" as if there was a shortage of women or a fear that if you didn't rush things that you would be up a creek without a paddle.
Women don't think in scarcity terms, so why should you? This is actually called "classy". What a novel concept!
Yet, all the guys are doing the same thing. Trying the same tactics like programmed robots.
But human emotion gets DESENSITIZED to the same thing repeated over and over.
So, you think a woman who is attractive is going to respond to that? You think she hasn't seen that already?
Worse, even if she hasn't seen it, the guy won't be congruent with it, so it will have weak impact and also weaken his belief in his own ability to attract women naturally.
The idea is to be UNIQUE. Copying everyone else won't do that.
So for example, if every guy is going up to women and being a "hard to get guy", do you know what I would do?
Guess.
I would be the chivalrous guy giving her a rose! Why? Because I would do it in a way that showed CONFIDENCE in my FAITH THAT SHE LIKED ME.
So it would NOT look needy. I would do it in a way that was just classy.
Let's face it, one rose does not cost a lot money.
And it would be ORIGINAL. ; )
Even NOW in our kissing up to women society, I can get away with such a "move", and so can you, because my non-verbal communication would say all the right things. My tonality, my expression on my face would say "this is your lucky day, cutie" and not "ohhhh I hope this works".
You see, I personally ACTUALLY REALLY feel that buying a woman a rose is silly IF you are trying to do it to impress her. But if you did it playfully and it was CLEAR that you already totally have a life, have a sense of humor, awesome goals, and that you already have experience with women and that you have your choice of women, then it would be fine, heck it might even be impressive! But not because you were TRYING so hard with the damn rose. It would be what it's MEANT to be, a TOKEN classy gesture.
Learning to succeed by breaking all the supposed rules and learning how to unleash something far more powerful that makes things WORK no matter what is very liberating. A guy sees that he doesn't have to fit into some tight constricted mold.
What's funny, is that I am constantly evolving myself, never stopping. I am constantly putting in my dues, I LOVE this stuff.
EVOLVING is the key to CREATING EMOTION. Otherwise, you are just repeating the same thing, and a woman will ADAPT TO IT AND SHE WILL BE DESENSITIZED.
In other words she will feel NOTHING.
Innovation is CRITICAL.
You can't attract women by doing what is ALREADY being done en masse.
You have to learn to be DIFFERENT. You have to learn to unleash the coolest parts of your INDIVIDUALITY. It's a SKILL.
This is why only A RARE HANDFUL of guys actually PROVE this stuff in person.
You have to put in your DUES for this. You have to be prepared to WORK.
Like that song that the supermodels walk to on the catwalk says:
"I wanna see you WORK!" ; )
Spontaneity, creativity, joy in the moment, it's KEY to your success with women.
In fact, there is much evidence to point to the fact that only reason we HAVE these crazy powerful brains is to attract women.
After all, the ANIMALS survive without such super brains, because they have stronger muscles, fur that protects them against snow and cold weather. Why didn't we evolve that way? We could have SURVIVED that way without our brains. So many evolutionary theorists believe the whole point of our brains was to use it in cool ways to attract women! We didn't need our brains to protect us from the elements, we could have had our bodies adapt to do that.
So use that wonderful gift you have upstairs. It's why I EMPHASIZE that you pursue the SEXY COOL ELEMENTS of your own INDIVIDUALITY.
This is KEY.
The trick is to do this while SIMULTANEOUSLY understanding the "PHYSICS" of attraction. Learn the "physics", as well as the "art" of merging your individuality into the "physics".
Success with women is very much the result of BOTH of these elements combined.
As an analogy, you still have to know some of the rules of grammar even if you are going to write creative genius material like Shakespeare.
Also, you need to understand things about women, such as the fact that for thousands of years they had to resort to being creative and cunning and use sex as a form of power to survive in a world where men were stronger and women did not have legal rights. ANOTHER powerful point regarding the way that guys approach women who are beautiful:
AGGRESSIVE IS NOT THE SAME AS SMOOTH
Most guys think that by being "aggressive" they are being cool. They aren't. They are being clueless.
So for example, most guys think that by being bold and going up to a woman and trying to get a date or a "meet up" or whatever they want to call it, they are showing confidence.
Then, if she declines, they try to push for it harder.
Guys think this "boldness" is confidence.
It's not. It's just being aggressive in a negative way. Which actually is a sign of NEEDINESS.
If the guy was REALLY confident, then he would not skip to the "date" so fast. He would naturally enjoy the opportunity to "vibe" and chat and have some interesting intriguing fun conversation and see if she is a cool person that way.
If a guy REALLY has many options with women, that's what he would do. Why is he rushing to get a "date" with a woman he doesn't even know? Sounds pretty creepy if you think about it, especially to a woman who has no clue what the needy frame of reality even FEELS like.
She just thinks it must be psycho.
So, rather than be "aggressive", the idea is to be in the moment, enjoy the convo, unleash your own personality, and talk about things that other guys DON'T talk about, things that are still INTERESTING and INTRIGUING AND COMPELLING or emotionally relevant in some other way, i.e. playful or funny or witty..
This way things are SMOOTH and classy and much sexier to her.
And much more comfortable for you too.
And THEN when you escalate to the next stage, whether it's kissing her, or going to another venue, or setting up a meetup, THEN you PERSIST, but you do it in a SMOOTH way, controlling the frame.
So if she says "I'm busy, I have to go to my friend Jane's house" you keep up the good vibes and tonality and say "cool, so let's get going now together, after all you have to meet Jane after!" All done with a confident SMILE.
So you see it's not AGGRESSION, it's SMOOTH PERSISTENCE AND GOOD VIBES.
Also, guys have to realize that sex is easy to get for women who are beautiful. So they are looking for more than just sex, they are looking for guys that are INTERESTING and ORIGINAL.
Of the few guys who DO approach women, most do it all in the SAME way. And even if they DO have some new way, the woman usually finds out soon that the guy is actually the same as every other guy as she gets to know him, the same boring behaviors, the same uncool things.
Every guy trying to be a generic clone of something already out there.
This brings me to ANOTHER point. Just because you are supposed to be different doesn't mean to go frantic trying to convince her of this.
It's easy to misconstrue an idea if you don't have the FULL context of the message.
This is why it's difficult to do full justice to these massive concepts all in article.
But the idea is not to be frantically explaining to her all the cool things about you. Just a TASTE of it is enough to get things going, in fact it's BETTER that way.
This is why I say try to talk the minimum you need.
If you were to hear the way women REALLY talk when they are being honest, they will say things like "Boy that guy really likes hearing the sound of his own voice".
This doesn't mean to be MEEK.
It means to be CONFIDENT ENOUGH in yourself that you don't need to "sell" yourself. Rather, you simply don't HIDE your personality!!!!!!
Especially when you are doing the initial pick up, but even long term, when you talk less, you allow her to IMAGINE more about you, which helps create a better image of you than you could ever create anyway!!!!!! It's HER fantasy of you created by HER. So let her HAVE it.
Let her imagination run wild. The thing is, you should be interesting on your own anyway! That's the whole point here.
One more thing:
I am not advising you to "soften up":
While you are being chilled out and revealing a bit of your individuality, and you are not over-talking, you must still OWN THE FRAME 100%.
This means that you are STILL being THE MAN. You're the one who must escalate physically. You're the one who says "let's sit there" at the café. You're the one who reframes any sh** test she throws at you. And so on, for eternity.
There is ANOTHER important point I must mention:
Pay attention to all the relevant factors in the situation. There isn't a "one size fits all" for every situation. For example, the location,
the venue, the time of day, her mood, the people around her, is she with her friends or alone, and many other factors.
All this results in the proper CALIBRATION of your pick up.
Calibration is probably the single most UNDER-RATED element to pick up.
This is because people like to oversimplify things, and calibration is not a simple thing.
But it's importance should make total sense to any guy who is AWAKE.
I mean think about it, calibration is you PAYING ATTENTION to what makes SENSE for the situation. If a girl is coming onto the subway with tears in her eyes, it's going to be different than if she is looking pleasant. If she is at the store with her mom, that's different than if she is with her friends. For example, it would make sense to make the mom feel good about the situation, otherwise the chick will feel weird in front of her mom and will act more closed.
Make her mom feel relaxed around you, and now the chick is free to be her real self and allow you to "game" her up as you like.

New Dating/Seduction Seminars & Workshop in Montreal by DOC!
Doc, who many of you know from his great interview here last time and all too rare but outstanding posts on this list, on Mystery's Lounge, and the Montreal Lair, is bringing his seminars and speed dating events to Montreal. Previously they were mainly held in Toronto as part of the Learning Annex, Doc is now setting it up here and plans to hold events on a monthly basis.

The events are Dating Secrets for Women, a 3 Hour seminar (cost $50) and Dating Secrets for Guys; a Guide to The Art of Dating (also 3 hours and $50). The fall calendar has a full weekend seminar and makeover. He also has 3 new books coming out this fall under the SETNA Dating Manual Series. Volume I (to be released this week) deals with the psychology of attraction, first impressions, and working on your inner game, Volume II (coming in September) deals with tactics and strategies to go from meeting her to dating her, and Volume III will deal with Managing Relationships.
Full-weekend Dating Makeover workshops will be offered soon (including a half day with a personal stylist, video tape analysis of body language, and live practice sessions with dating coaches beautiful women who will give the guys on the spot feedback on how they come across and what to improve). What method are YOU using?
If you are opening groups (or sets: 2-sets, 3-sets, mixed sets, etc) of people with the 3 second rule by stacking indirect openers (including false opinion openers), false time constraining (discovered by Style), demonstrating a higher value to your romantic interest’s peer group with high octane DHVs while she obliquely observes (locking her into her own set with a prop), and simultaneously performing false disqualifiers (which include negs) on her with the intension of disarming her peergroup and then isolating her to rebuild her self-esteem once you have enough IOIs (indicators of interest) so you may share in a comfort and trust building effort and then build in a jealousy subplot to solidify her attraction for you, you are using The Mystery Method.
If instead you are only approaching women who are alone, you are greatly limiting your options and quite likely alienating your Target's friends. Do you want a lonely woman (why is she lonely?) or a woman who already has a healthy social lfe? Truth is, healthy women have healthy relationships ... sometimes good friendships with guys. Like it or not, you will have to meet these women with men in her group.
